This is my "Bonne Vieille Bouteille" (Good Ol' Bottle). It follows me almost everywhere and I fill it either with tap water or herbal tea. It's a glas bottle I bought second hand because I hated drinking from a plastic bottle because it got damaged or the cap wasn't sealer properly and leaked. Over time the plastic changed color so I might have some nano-particle bits in my bloodstream now...

I slapped a funny sticker on it and it's super convenient. Several people told me that it's heavy and not practical but she's been with me for 6 years now and the sticker is still in a good state. I never put sugar drinks, only water or cold herbal tea if I'm tired of tasteless tap water. I really like the fact I've been using it for a long time. I know it could break but it was previously a lemonade bottle so it's very thick and quite sturdy, not like a champagne glass. So if you ever see this exact bottle IRL, there's a very high chance you've just met me !
HI I read this a while ago and I saw your cool bottle and thought that was silly and that it would just break, but recently, a company has been selling milk in glass jars at a grocery store I work at and ive been drinking it a lot and today I remembered this and I decided it would be cool to makes some sun tea in one of the bottles I had already used its actually a better idea that I thought at the start and since its thick glass it prob wont break so maybe ill start to use it a lot more
It's thick glass, yeah. It was initially a lemonade bottle so there was a level of resilience expected from the bottle. Being glass I'm more careful with it so that's probably why it's still there to this day ! Plastic and Glass both have advantages/inconvienents, I perfectly understand people sticking to plastic ones or even metal !
