By: Corrupted Unicorn ~ View Artworks Artist's Comments: I followed a Bob Ross episode using nothing but MSPaint and it looks... surprisingly good from a distance?! I really admire Mr Ross' love for nature and art, and how easy he makes painting look like. But at the same time, how amiable and inviting he is to everyone during his follow-along videos. He doesn't want you to just create a pretty picture, but a world inside the canvas, and gently teaches you techniques and how paint, light and colour work. And by trying the same as him, in a program infamous for its shortcomings, and achieving a result like this... it just beams a ray of hope right into my jaded unicorn heart. |
