Artist's Comments: This is a photo of an Eastern Garden Snail (I think) that I saw while I was on a walk with some friends at the end of May 2025. There were quite a few of them moseying about that day, since the past three days before this photo was taken were very cool and rainy. This one stood out to me though, since it wasn't hidden in its shell, eye stalks out and everything, and its shell had a particularly pretty shine to it. A very good snail. This photo among others was originally posted to my May 2025 newsletter, which I have hyperlinked to. |

I want to pet their little heads (but I won't because that might scare and/or hurt them). I think the fact that it had some leaf cover made it a bit more bold than the others, who were scattered about the edge of the sidewalk. |
