By: ConnorTheVGFan78 ~ View Artworks Artist's Comments: A rather unique Burger King in Thurmont, Maryland that's themed to look like an old diner. I've been to other Burger King locations that look like this, but this is the closest one to me. Considering the trends in modern restaurant design, it's refreshing to see an interior that's colorful, uniquely themed, and full of personality in a world full of gray, minimalist designs that have been more widely adopted for the sake of "keeping up with design trends." Of course, the most noticeable features of this location include light fixtures that look like records, a (non-operational) jukebox, and booth seating in what appears to be a replica 1950s Chevy. |

| March 22, 2025 @790.47 This is so refreshing. I hate Burger King, but I'd eat here at least once a week just to hang out somewhere cool. The jukebox reminds me of the ice cream parlour in the town I grew up in in the 2010s. It was actually functioning, and my friends and I thought it was just the coolest thing ever. Whenever we'd go, we'd frequently put something on, even if we didn't recognise or particularly like the selection. To this day, Brown Eyed Girl has a very special vibe to me. |
