It has the term for the area around our solar system "GREATER DARK" because we are in a void of more empty than average space & the tone of the setting is very dark. However I then realized that it contradicts certain things that have happened / will happen. So this remains a map which I will use in rpg game sessions, but it is no longer cannon to the story that I am writing even though it has logos that are used in the story. For an explanation of how you can use it as a map in an rpg - put an imaginary quarter over one of the planet names (fleet is a location name for ships in space). You can move the quarter to any location in the bar immediately adjacent to the bar you are in. I feel like this is a good system for a world map in a space setting because it is more readable imo than colored dots in a big black void. Theoretically the map could be expanded by adding new bars above, beneath, behind, in front of, or to either side of the existing bars. |

You know even though I've never played it, from my understanding of cruelty squad it sort of matches the vibes of what I'm writing. I'm considering renaming it Splatterpunk Legends instead of Skylight Legends cus I recently discovered that genre and think that it fits what this is for well. The new chapter of it is on my website. It involves a robot lobotomy for freedom and the revolution. |
