it's funny you say that, because i bought off a kodak tele-instamatic for $3 from a local auction/estate sales website so i am also luggin' round a 70s plastic camera. i'm very into novelty cameras and photography so the instant i saw a camera for an almost-dead-film-format i just couldn't pass that up it draws me like a fly to raw meatQuote from: pepper I have a few more examples of lomo purp 110, taken on the same day so similar daylight (overcast), but different locations: one, two, three! I've also used Lomo Turquoise on my Ektralite, it looks much more vibrant than the purp. yeah, holy HELL talk about vibrant on the lomo turquoise, i like how unsettling the purple feels when it's used for outdoor photography especially in your first and second example. for me i'm planning to get some of the redscale film as well because i'm simply biased and it's my favorite color... hopefully when i try shooting some of the 110 and get around to developing them i'll have to post some of them on here! we'll have a micro-community of 110 film photographers Last modified by: dotmidi March 07, 2026 @313.37 |

I have a few more examples of lomo purp 110, taken on the same day so similar daylight (overcast), but different locations: one, two, three! I've also used Lomo Turquoise on my Ektralite, it looks much more vibrant than the purp. Also, the Orca 110 is a great black and white film! Here's an example I printed optically myself. It needed some work in the darkroom (dodging, burning, contrast filters) and I don't know if I could've gotten this shot to look the way I wanted if I didn't have access to a darkroom, but the Orca is a very nice film for it's size and I think my difficulty with it is more down to the 70s plastic camera than the film stock ![]() |

I also just love the complimentary colours too! :3 Thanks! The fog I think was a reflection on the lens. The colors are from the film, it's an experimental film stock that does weird color manipulation, it's fun to use because I don't know what it'll actually look like until I develop it! It was actually a pretty and bright, albeit overcast, day when I took this |
