Helloooo MelonLand!! It’s nice to come back to this place after so long lol. I do really like it here although I do get a bit shy about interacting in the forums sometimes. And other times I just straight up forget that this place even exists, sorry lol. But anyway Happy (extremely late I know..) New year to anyone who’s reading this!! :3

If you’re curious the brush I used in this piece is called “evolve” and it can be found in the drawing section of procreate’s default brush library. If you have an Apple Pencil you can use pressure sensitivity to determine how transparent the brush texture is, which was hugely helpful when I was doing the gradient. Idk if you use procreate though so I’m sorry if this isn’t helpful to you, but I figured it’d be worth sharing anyway.

bloodypawprints	January 22, 2026 @823.95 such a gorgeous piece! i love how the dark maroon contrasts the bright yellow and it really draws the eye to the focal character. im also incredibly fond of the pixelized shading i feel like most people dont do it anymore (which is sad because it looks really really good in my opinion)
