I took this photo years ago as a joke. It's of a dinosaur statue thing at the playground just outside my house. It's not there anymore.

I remember my brother posted it to a bad photography facebook page (with my permission) and it got alot of attention.

Over time it's become my favorite piece of photography I've done. It is goofy, yet something about the camera angle and way it's slightly offset fills me with a subtle terror. It is watching. It reminds me of The Cyclops by Odilon Redon. But furthermore, it also has a subtle air of nostalgia in the way the sunlight glows through the trees in the background, something about the lighting reminds me of the default profile and desktop photos for Windows XP. I adore this photo and I keep editing this to add more thoughts.
