By: NinePsi ~ View Artworks Artist's Comments: I'm lost, I'm a ghost Dispossessed, taken host Spectre, how he laughs Fear puts a spell on us Always second-guessing love My hunger burns a bullet hole A spectre of my mortal soul The only truth that I can see Spectre has come for me A redraw of what I saw in the album art of Radiohead's "Spectre" song, a song originally meant for a James Bond movie, but has found a new resonance on its own. I personally found it relatable at a deeper level, discussing how rage can fuel someone with so much rage that it burns a bullet in your heart, and how that anger that in turn become dangerous to yourself. The album art looked like a wolf to me, so I tried to play with that concept, and then made the eye in the back of the head look like a bullet hole, too, but not in a way that it would appear like gore or blood. |
