Summerween Watch-a-thon

For this event, pick movies from your DVDs shelf and curate your own Summerween themed horror/horror adjacent movies(or shows.) Then once you got a good stack, have a Summerween themed night or nights.

To better help with curating your media, think of horror that take place on a sunny hot day, a vacation trip gone wrong, or a curse tropical island as just small examples.

Please do not go out and buy DVDs for this event as its encouraged to browse through your physical media you already own.

Borrowing DVDs from the library is acceptable as it gives back to your local library.

I will make a small greenlight as to use some streaming services, but only if they're connected to your local library card like how Kanopy and Hoopla.

I hope this event planning makes sense? I just want to encourage more people to look through their media they already own and promote less paid subscription based services.
