About Me
It/its or plural they/them pronouns, unless prompted otherwise
We're a pretty big plural system but we don't usually know who's in front at a given moment. We go by Waap as an umbrella title.
We like making things with our hands, critical analysis, exploration, creatures both real and imaginary, and plants and rocks. We feel the most comfortable when immersed in water.
We live in Aotearoa but we have a fun and quirky sleep disorder that means we might be awake or asleep whenever. Life is full of surprises!
We have a Neocities that you can check out here! Be warned it contains some harsh swear words.

My Interests
Music: We enjoy a lot of different bands from different genres. We tend to especially like music with interesting rhythms and odd time signatures, melodic music, and stuff with political lyrics that we agree with. Anything with "progressive" in the genre name tends to go down well.
Some specific bands: Death Grips, The Mars Volta, Tropical Fuck Storm, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, 100 Gecs, Gorillaz, Florence + the Machine, Lemon Demon, Caravan Palace, Rhombus, Fat Freddy's Drop
Videogames: We grew up on Playstation 1 + 2 and PC gaming, and that's strongly shaped our taste. Most of our contemporary favourites are indie titles. We gravitate towards simulation games, 3D platformers, rhythm games, and roguelites, and we strongly prefer single-player gaming. We have friends in the videogame speedrunning scene, and have times of our own on speedrun.com for Crash Bash and Pogo3D, but it's something we do very casually so the times aren't any good, lol.
Some specific games: Crash Bandicoot, Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Strange Jigsaws, Pogo3D, Creatures 3, Melody's Escape 2, Dwarf Fortress, Dark Cloud, The Sims, Petz 5
Creative Hobbies: We have done a lot of digital drawing and painting, though we started out traditional. We're decently confident in our creative writing, though it's a craft we've put a lot less time and effort into. We've also dabbled in clay sculpting, 2D animation, programming (GDScript and Scratch), HTML+CSS (are these a kind of programming too?), 3D modelling, and hand sewing, though we're very much a beginner in all of those.
At the moment, we're most interested in improving at GDScript programming and website stuff, but we'd like to go back to Blender eventually because we want to one day make a 3D platformer game.
Miscellaneous Interests: tabletop role-playing games, Those Who Went Missing, metal wall ornaments of fish, listing and brainstorming, biting and chewing
