About Me
The main thing I want you to take away from this profile is that I really like getting to know cool people (that's you) and I want to check out your website, read your blog, and write you up a bunch of my thoughts on it! Do you have a part of your site that you wish someone would check out? Something you're hoping people will comment on? Tell me! I want to see that thing! I want to comment on it!
I am a very artsy/philosophy driven person. But don't mistake that as being opposed to quantitative sciencey stuff. I'm all about that sort of thing.
It's hard to write an about me, because I don't think it's possible to give a good picture of a person in so few words! This is why I love seeing people's art, listening to their music, and reading their writing. Again - share share share!

My Interests
I really like programming. I also really like to show the wonders and joy of programming and tech to others. If you have a programming question about your site or something, feel free to ask me on my profile or somewhere and maybe I will be able to help!
I also enjoy making music digitally. Like with programming, I love helping people with this, especially with music theory.
I like learning math in my free time. In particular I'm trying to learn combinatorial game theory, measure theory, group theory. But this is all going very slowly and I'm not very good at it
I wanna make a video game and most of my interests connect to that. But I have yet to make a video game. Funny how that works...

Nice piece! Thank you for sharing. I sometimes come across nice Carnatic pieces through the Darbar Festival channel, but I am quite unfamiliar with the genre except for the vague knowledge that it is more linear than Hindustani music. Sometimes I wish t was easier to find translated lyrics of what they are singing. Did you get formal training in Western classical music? My knowledge of that is quite basic.
Happy to hear you related to the post. I've found that a lot of people had a similar unsavoury experience with the debating format. If anything I find it sad that the debating sport steals away so many people with a talent for logical reasoning, and instead push them in this hostile mold. Just as you said, having a discussion with someone seems more fruitful if both people are able to come out of it with more knowledge than before. For me, I tend to enter discussions with the intent to reach consensus: Surely there is something me and the other can agree on even if we come from vastly different starting points. If anything I learned that from my philosophy classes back in high school and maybe also my conflict resolution tendency.
