I haven't added my buddies yet.

My name is Elkie and I'm 23! I love to try new things and joining a forum is one of them. I'm a huge fan of games in all shapes and sizes (videogames, board games, card games, hopscotch etc.) and have a degree in concept art. Drawing is my favourite thing in the world.

I have a youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@elkinboots
You can find me @ elkinboots on tumblr, bluesky and instagram but I fear I barely ever post.

In the past few years I've become much more into the indie web and old tech, inspired by a general feeling that I should be using tech in a way I find fun rather than completely draining. I think my favourite console is the PSVita but I do adore my DS. I like tinkering with them (perhaps to a worrying will-this-ever-turn-on-again degree) and seeing what's possible these days with little devices.

I'm also very into the old doll brand PinkyStreet, I have one on my desk guarding my notebooks. Tell me if you own any PInkyStreet stuff or have played the rhythm games, I adore them.

I'm very into art of all kinds and I love to gush about it - I've always got my portfolio in progress. I'd like to actually commit to a comic next year to force some consistency into my brain. I also like to write excessive amounts of notes in my notebooks and keep about 8 checklists at any one time!

Recently I've been interested in Godot and I've been watching some tutorials to learn my way around. I think nowadays I'm just all about seeing cool things and thinking 'I can do that too'. That attitude has been so good for my brain!!
