BOOKS

  • After Tonight, Everything Will Be Different by Adam Gnade (The first book to ever make me cry. )
  • Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg. (A tough read, but a vital one. Zie really had a way with words.)
  • Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
  • Rumo & His Miraculous Adventures by Walter Moers (Cherished not only for the good story but because it was a large bonding moment between me and one of my best friends.)

hell yeah! And then stuff like Orchid, Saetia, and other bands on Level Plane are great. Although I admit, I'm not really in the mood for angry and sad music as much as I used to be.

I used to be pretty into emo, although I was more into the hXc variety. I do like midwest stuff sometimes. Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) used to my favorite midwest band.

Oh heavens.. I wish you luck, that is one of my least favorites from Gregg Araki :ziped: it's extremely striking visually and cinematographly though so it is still an important watch I believe! If only Gregg Araki's MTV Pilot episode for a show he was pitching had been greenlit.. WE would all be living in his world. I really feel like I was written to belong in his films, its kind of funny.
